La Union is a cooperative in the North of the Nariño region, which is characterised by its rich volcanic soils from the Galeras volcano.
La Union consits of approximately 800 producers, all growing at high altitude with well-defined rainy and dry seasons.
La Union has an Ideal microclimate for slow maturation of cherries. The Guamo Trees (Leguminose) provide shade and nitrogen, whereas the Banana and Citrus trees provide additional shade and contribute to cup characteristics.
La Union maintains the highest agricultural and post harvest practices.
